Vukasambe
Primary School, the name Vukasambe literally translated means “Wake up &
let’s go to learn” The school was established in 1980 and it is located at
Lihawu Section, in Msogwaba Trust, hundred meters away from Lihawu intersection
on the paved road to Gedlembane Trust. Msogwaba Trust is situated in Mbombela
Municipality, thirty kilometers away from the city of Nelspruit in Mpumalanga
It is a Quintile No: 2 declared as a
no fee school. It is depending on government grant to cover curriculum costs.
It relies on fundraising to implement most
of its infrastructure development projects.
It is a feeder school for Lihawu and
Gedlembane Secondary Schools and services six sections being Lihawu, Vuka,
Mamindza, Mamelodi, Nkanini and Phakama. Current school enrolment is 1296 and
commence from Grade R to 7.
